Attention fellown Anklebiters! Anklepants Skate Zine is undergoing a spine-tingling transformation. The name "Anklepants" will soon find itself dead and buried while a new title will rise from the firey depths to unleash terror wherever it may be. Prepare yourselves...
Changing the name of the zine has crossed my mind numerous times since the release of issue #8, and, upon release of the next issue (#9), I believe it is time to finally retire the ridiculous name "Anklepants" and start fresh. Everything I have learned while doing Anklepants will be used in the creation of this new zine. This new creation will contain many classic elements of Anklepants and will essentially be the same zine, just with a new moniker.
There are numerous reasons behind this name change - the main idea being that the previous name isn't suitable for the direction the zine was headed during issue #8. Because of this name change, I will be creating an all new blog, social media page, and YouTube channel (where I plan to put more effort into the cinematography once my current video project is completed). The contents of the zine itself will be better thought out, edited, and written. There will be more stories and fewer opinions mixed with my best photography, drawings, and editing.
Previous Anklepants issues are getting a slight updating but will remain for sale.
The new name has been chosen and will be unveiled eventually.
Yes, everything will remain black and white.
